Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber Announces New Name and Brand
“Over the last 20 years, our firm has experienced tremendous growth and expansion into new markets. It was time for a change to reflect this growth. As we continue to expand, we felt a name change would present a unified message that is more easily recognized in all the regions in which we provide our service,” said Jeff Schumaker, PE, President and Principal of Fishbeck. “This new brand represents the innovative work and minds we have at our firm.”
With an established history in Michigan since 1956, Fishbeck began opening additional offices outside of its home state in 2006, focusing on public infrastructure, public spaces, manufacturers and higher education. Over the past 10 years, Fishbeck’s revenue has grown by almost 50 percent, with a staff increase of over 25 percent. With this growth, Fishbeck has further advanced its Midwest expansion and grown its engineering and architectural services. In 2019, Fishbeck opened a new location in Indianapolis, Indiana, and acquired the Ohio-based consulting firm, Northwest Consultants, Inc.
Fishbeck’s ownership structure remains 100 percent employee owned. While the name change will provide new opportunities in additional markets, Fishbeck’s core services remain engineering, architecture, environmental sciences and construction management.
