Based in the Cleveland office, Lastovka will manage and support design projects ranging from drainage to interstates to local roadways. He will also provide hydraulic engineering for water resources projects. Lastovka said he values clear communication and collaboration, stakeholder involvement, and utilizing new technologies to achieve innovative and safe project results.
After 30 years working for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Lastovka is skilled in complex project management. For the past 10 years, he oversaw the Cleveland Innerbelt Modernization Plan to improve safety, reduce congestion and traffic delays, and modernize the I-71, I-77, and I-90 corridor through downtown Cleveland. Lastovka directed design management, construction oversight, right-of-way acquisition, stakeholder involvement, and consultant administration for the $2 billion program.
Lastovka is a lifetime member of the American Society of Highway Engineers and holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The Ohio State University.
