She has four years of industry experience, which includes a year as a self-employed Design Consultant and a year as an Architectural Designer for Mitchell Wall Architecture & Design in St. Louis. Her experience also includes Research Assistant for St. Louis-based Architect Valerie Greer where she created drawings for the Pacific Garden Mission renovation in Chicago, as well as Teaching Assistant at Washington University’s History and Design Studio where she led seminar meetings for groups of 15 students and provided feedback on design concepts, technical drawings, and presentations.

DeAngelo has a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in engineering science and art history from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
