“I’m excited to move into this well-established division and continue delivering exceptional results for our clients while fostering a positive work environment for our team,” Koster said.
Koster's construction career began in high school when he honed his skills as a Carpenter and Electrician. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Western Michigan University in 1995, Koster's career path led him through various roles, including General Manager at a car dealership and Owner of a residential construction company.
Koster joined Superior Construction in 2018, initially serving as a Project Manager and Estimator in the industrial market, then moving to the position of Senior Project Manager. Now, as Mid-South Division Manager, Koster will develop and pursue large-scale transportation projects across the Indianapolis metro area, helping expand Superior’s regional portfolio of heavy civil transportation and industrial work. He will also head division operations, including labor and cost management.
“Tim has contributed to numerous successful projects across our region, including the Indiana Department of Transportation’s I-80/94 pavement restoration projects and the Tennessee Valley Authority project,” said Dan Sopczak, Superior Midwest Business Unit President. “We’re confident his hands-on experience and commitment to excellence will help him lead the Mid-South Division well.”
