Deerkoski has 34 years of experience providing transportation engineering services to public and private clients. During his career, he has amassed a portfolio that includes many of New York City’s major bridge, transit, and infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Thornton Tomasetti, Deerkoski was a Vice President at AECOM, where he was responsible for overseeing the bridge and transportation alternative delivery practices for the New York region.

Deerkoski holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Manhattan College and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America and the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York’s Design-Build Committee. Deerkoski is a past President of the American Society of Civil Engineers Metropolitan Section.
