Dewberry Senior Vice President Boulé Named President of SAME NYC Post Chapter
He served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 2012, attaining the rank of Colonel before retiring. From 2009 to 2012, Boulé was Commander of the New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). In this role, he was responsible for the USACE’s water resource development and regulatory activities in much of New York State and New Jersey, as well as Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Boulé also served as District Engineer responsible for the design and construction of facilities and infrastructure at Army and Air Force installations in New Jersey, New York and Greenland.
“I’m honored to serve in this new leadership role within SAME,” Boulé said. “I’m looking forward to continuing to contribute to greater community connectivity by being involved with other members in solving some of the nation’s most challenging infrastructure projects and initiatives.”
Boulé holds two master’s degrees from Stanford University in environmental fluid mechanics and hydrology (1996), and structural engineering (1995); and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point (1986). In addition to his involvement in SAME, he is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
