WASHINGTON, DC — Suffolk announces the hiring of Philip Brault as General Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region and National Federal Center of Excellence. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mid-Atlantic region and continuing to accelerate the growth of its National Federal Government Center of Excellence.
The federal government sector is experiencing significant growth, with a strong demand for facility and infrastructure modernization across the various agencies, so Suffolk has positioned itself as a player in this expanding market. Brault’s expertise will be instrumental in driving Suffolk’s efforts to capitalize on this growth.
“Joining Suffolk is an incredible opportunity to work with a firm at the forefront of innovation in the construction industry,” Brault said. "I look forward to collaborating with a team dedicated to transforming the construction space and setting new standards for excellence."
Brault brings more than 20 years of experience managing complex projects. For the past four years, Brault has managed a portfolio of work throughout the Mid-Atlantic as the Regional Director for Consigli’s Washington, D.C. team, where he spearheaded growth and development in the region. His portfolio includes projects across the federal, education, museum and cultural, hospitality, and public institutional markets, including the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft, Ft. Meade Freedom Center IV Barracks, U.S. Naval Academy MacDonough Hall, Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum Revitalization, and the NAFVAC Washington Large Construction MACC program.
Brault has also been active in the community, including serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for the D.C. Preservation League, as well as a member of the Climate Action Committee and the Historic Project Review Committee. He is also a Trustee with the Federal City Council, where he and other industry partners helped spearhead the DC Builds DC program, helping to connect local residents and students with jobs/careers in the construction industry. Brault has been recognized with multiple awards, including Preservation Massachusetts’ Tsongas Award.
