MONTPELIER, VT — The Associated General Contractors of Vermont (AGC/VT) announces it has been awarded the Howard Mock Award for the second time in three years, recognizing the organization’s achievements in member growth, innovation, and engagement. This honor marks AGC/VT’s 10th national and international recognition in five years.
Presented by the Associated General Contractors of America, the Howard Mock Award celebrates state chapters that demonstrate outstanding leadership, strategic advancement, and service to their members.
"This award is a testament to the dedication of our members, staff, and leadership team," said John Casella, 2025 President of AGC/VT. "We are honored to be recognized once again on the national stage and remain committed to driving innovation and excellence in Vermont’s construction community."
AGC/VT’s recent accomplishments include: significant year-over-year membership growth, launch of workforce development programs, expansion of digital engagement platforms, and advocacy efforts that have shaped state and regional construction policy.
AGC/VT has been recognized on both national and international stages. Over the past five years, they received 10 awards for their contributions to the business and construction industry. These accolades included recognition for their safety programs, community service initiatives, skills and career advancement, and workforce development.
