BOISE, ID — Austin Industries announces that Rebecca Hupp, AAE, has joined Austin Commercial as Vice President of Aviation.
Hupp brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience and a track record in aviation, business development, strategic growth, and organizational leadership. She most recently served more than 14 years as Boise Airport Director, where she led one of the country’s fastest-growing airports through a period of growth and modernization.
During her tenure, passenger traffic increased by 82 percent during the past decade, while she oversaw major initiatives to modernize and expand airport infrastructure. Hupp also played a key role in recruiting new air service, doubling the airport’s number of nonstop destinations, and attracting private-sector investment, which enhanced airport facilities and services. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Hupp has built teams focused on employee engagement, improvement, innovation, and operations.

Hupp will be based in Boise, Idaho, where she has been an active community and industry leader, serving on numerous trade organizations and nonprofit boards. She recently served as Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives from 2025 to 2026.
