SEATTLE, WA — Skanska promotes Tom Leptich to Vice President of Operations and Albert Martin to Vice President - Account Manager for its Skanska USA Building operations across the Puget Sound region and the Inland Northwest. Each has spent more than two decades with the company.
As Vice President of Operations, Leptich will oversee project execution and field operations across Washington, partnering with Account Managers to support projects, people, and customers. He will continue to champion operational consistency, workforce development, innovation, and excellence in project delivery.
“Tom’s extensive project experience, strategic mindset, and deep understanding of the business make him exceptionally well-suited for this role,” said Don Kowalchuk, Executive Vice President - General Manager, Skanska USA Building in Seattle. “He has a collaborative leadership style and a proven track record of supporting project teams, mentoring future leaders, and partnering with field supervisors to drive safety, quality, and performance.”
Since joining Skanska in 2000, Leptich has demonstrated a commitment to operational excellence, developing people, and delivering successful project outcomes. Over his 26-year career with Skanska, he has built extensive experience leading teams across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial office, health care, hospitality, higher education, K-12, life sciences, industrial, and multifamily markets.
Leptich holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Washington.

As Vice President - Account Manager, Martin will continue his focus on building Skanska’s K-12 market, as well as strengthening and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the company continues to deliver value.
