PORTLAND, OR — The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) recently introduced its newly installed National Board and Regional Directors for the 2025-2026 term.
In the Pacific Builder & Engineer area, the following industry leaders were added to the National Board:
- Charris Sonne-Phinney, CRIS, Commercial Construction Insurance Account Manager at Anchor Insurance & Surety Inc. in Portland, Oregon, was named Treasurer of the board.
- Kelly Aust, Project Manager at Skanska in Portland, Oregon, was named Immediate Past President of the board.
In addition, Dotty Johnson, CIT, CIS, Executive Assistant at Bouten Construction Company in Spokane, Washington, was named a Regional Director in the Pacific Northwest Region.
NAWIC continues the vision of its founding members by advocating for the value and impact of women builders, professionals, and tradeswomen in all aspects of the construction industry. With more than 120 chapters nationwide, and over 6,000 members, NAWIC offers its members opportunities for professional development, education, networking, and leadership training.
