Some of Young’s projects in California include Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Specialty Services Center in Sunnyvale; the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford Maternity Unit in Palo Alto; the UC San Francisco Center for Reproductive Health; Dignity Health Saint Francis Memorial Hospital Emergency Department Expansion and Surgery Remodel in San Francisco; and several recent projects for Kaiser Permanente.

Young holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and bachelor’s degrees in urban studies and human biology from Stanford University. She is actively involved with the American Institute of Architects, the Lean Construction Institute, and the Design-Build Institute of America.
