LOS ANGELES, CA — STV announces Crystal Chan, AIA, has joined the firm as Vice President and West Area Manager within the firm’s national buildings group. In this role, Chan will oversee operations across the Western U.S., driving business development, client and community engagement, talent cultivation, project execution, and financial performance.
“Crystal’s ability to guide large, complex projects while fostering collaboration between teams, clients, and community stakeholders will be key to STV’s continued growth across the West,” said Kim Vierheilig, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, President of the national buildings group at STV. “Her background in both design excellence and operational leadership will help strengthen our position as a trusted partner in this important region.”
Chan is a licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use development. Prior to joining STV, she served as Vice President of Design for a real estate development and construction firm, where she established portfolio-wide design standards; optimized operations for efficiency and longevity; and championed the use of off-site modular construction to accelerate project delivery.
Chan holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California. She is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Commercial Real Estate Women, the Urban Land Institute, and is a U.S. Green Building Council Accredited Professional.
STV’s national buildings group provides comprehensive architecture, engineering, planning, and design services for a range of markets including justice, education, health and well-being, transportation, science and technology, federal programs, and cities.
