An estimated 800 Holt customers and friends were treated to a full barbecue dinner and entertainment at the HOLT Manufacturing and Rebuild Center just south of Waco, Texas. Holt staff conducted tours of the 70,000 square foot Rebuild Center and 100,000 square foot Manufacturing Center which they have retrofitted since acquiring the facility from Caterpillar in 2019.
Holt’s Waco Rebuild Center, one of the biggest in the U.S., is capable of complete rebuilds on some of the largest equipment - depending on the condition of the frame. This facility accepts equipment both from Holt’s own locations, from Caterpillar dealerships outside their territory with smaller capability, as well as directly from equipment owners.
The Holt Manufacturing Center, their newest facility, was completed in early 2020 to manufacture their new Spray King line of water tanks and large 2 to 3 megawatt generators. Spray King water tanks are primarily paired with articulated trucks, but are also produced for rigid frame, on-and off-road trucks, tanks for scrapers and stand tanks. Their proprietary design features an integrated ladder in the door and a removable skeleton. A highlight of the plant tour was a preview of their new 621 K Drop Tank Spray King, which Holt plans to introduce at ConExpo in March 2023. This “K” line was engineered to meet more stringent environmental regulations.
Displays throughout the property exhibited their newer product lines in addition to their traditional lines of Caterpillar equipment.
