PLEASANTON, CA — Big-D Construction announces the promotion of Vicente Roman and Bahman Bina to Vice Presidents at Big-D Pacific Builders. These appointments strengthen Big-D’s leadership and expand its presence in California and the broader region.

Roman brings more than 20 years of experience in health care and large-scale commercial construction across California. His portfolio includes large health care and hospital replacement buildings, higher education, and high-rise multi-family developments.
Since joining Big-D Pacific Builders, he has successfully guided projects through complexities, from contract negotiations and design management to regulatory closeouts. Roman holds both a Master of Business Administration and an Associate Design-Build Institute of America certification.
Bina has been with Big-D Pacific Builders since 2007, playing a role in shaping the office’s reputation in preconstruction and estimating. He has been instrumental in securing and delivering projects for global brands such as Amazon and Prologis, as well as community and health care facilities including the Palo Alto Art Center and Kindred Healthcare.

He holds a master's degree in construction engineering and has shared his expertise as an adjunct instructor at Cal State East Bay. With a commitment to mentoring and innovation, Bina has advanced project accuracy while fostering relationships with clients and partners.
