BREA, CA — Burns & McDonnell announces the promotion of Sean Kenny and Kevin Sepulveda to key leadership roles supporting the firm’s continued growth in California.
Kenny has been promoted to Construction Group Manager for California. In this role, he will oversee construction operations and project execution across key sectors including power, transmission and distribution, aviation, federal, ports, global facilities, and aerospace manufacturing. Kenny has extensive experience in design-build and engineer-procure-construct project delivery methods and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. Since joining the firm, he has held roles from Field Engineer to Project Manager, most recently serving as Construction Director supporting industrial markets, particularly in power and transmission and distribution.
Sepulveda has been promoted to Global Facilities Group Manager in California, where he will lead teams delivering projects in industries such as aerospace manufacturing, data centers, life sciences, and food and beverage. Sepulveda brings over a decade of construction experience, including greenfield plant developments, plant expansions, and retrofit projects across the U.S. Most recently, he served as a Construction Director in California.
