SACRAMENTO, CA — Construction expert Brett Snyder joins Sundt Construction as Lead Estimator for the firm’s Building Group, California District. In his role, Snyder will lead the estimating team, provide all aspects of preconstruction services for projects, and serve as the point of contact for designers and clients.
“We are excited to welcome Brett to our team,” Project Director Dylan Rogers said. “His ability to provide creative solutions and build strong relationships with owners and design teams will be instrumental in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.”
Snyder has led key projects such as the University of California, Davis Chemistry Addition & Renovation and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Substation G projects. He holds a degree in construction management from the College of Engineering at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS).
Snyder is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of construction professionals. He supported CSUS’s Associated Schools of Construction student competitions for several years. From 2019 to 2024, he coached the university’s Concrete Solutions team, and he now serves as a coach for the Mixed-Use team competing in Region 7. He also serves as an adjunct professor at CSUS, teaching advanced estimating to upper-division students.
