“The pandemic has presented many challenges and opportunities for our office,” Young said. “As we adopt a flexible third way of working, we are building on our firm-wide staff survey to help people feel comfortable coming back to the office and reconnecting with colleagues in person. This role is an opportunity to help reaffirm a positive workplace that will support staff productivity, wellbeing, and new talent acquisition moving forward.”
In addition to Office Director, Young will continue as Principal in the Public | Corporate group focusing on workplace planning and design for leading government clients, including the State of California, and cities and counties throughout northern California.
“Beth champions an empathetic and collaborative approach to her projects, the Sacramento office, and the firm,” said Scott Lindvall, AIA, NCARB, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HGA. “This is a particularly exciting time as we move beyond the pandemic. We look forward to collaborating with Beth in this new position.”
Young additionally serves in leadership roles with the Design-Build Institute of America Western Pacific Region and the Construction Management Association of America Northern California Chapter.
