LOS ANGELES, CA — Aviation leader Kash Hadipour, Ph.D., P.E., joins HDR as West Region Aviation Lead. Hadipour, based in Los Angeles, will be responsible for HDR’s aviation practice in the western United States. Acting as a senior member of aviation leadership, he will lead multidisciplined project teams and work directly with clients to advance their airport facilities. He will set HDR’s aviation strategy in the region and enhance services for current and potential clients.

“Serving the needs of airport clients has been one of my career missions,” Hadipour said. “At HDR, I will call upon my 35 years of transportation experience to help aviation clients reach their goals in growth, operational excellence, sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction.”

Hadipour has more than three decades of experience as a Civil Engineer, Program Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Infrastructure Business Development Professional. He has worked on all aspects of airports, including landside improvements, terminal modernization projects, and airfield rehabilitations. His work can be seen at many of the busiest destinations in the world, at airports in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, and Toronto.

Actively involved in professional civil engineering and transportation societies, he has been a guest speaker and moderator at numerous conferences and has also taught transportation, airfield design, roadway design, and construction management courses at several universities.
