As the Deputy District Engineer, Bock will provide executive leadership with responsibility and accountability for business management and program execution to assure assigned local, regional, and national programs are executed within targeted costs and schedule. He will also be an active member of the Regional Management Board and Regional Command Council.

Bock has worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for approximately 30 years and possesses extensive experience within the military, civil, and environmental programs. Prior to becoming the Chief of Engineering Division in Louisville, Bock served 23 years in the Huntington District, finishing his time there as the Deputy District Engineer. In addition to his experience within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, Bock has also served in several temporary USACE assignments including his most recent as the Interim Regional Business Director for the Southwestern Division in Dallas, Texas, in 2021.
Bock is a registered Professional Engineer in West Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
