CHARLESTOWN, IN — VanTrust Real Estate, LLC has begun construction on a 670,320-square-foot industrial building at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Charlestown, Indiana, which is part of the Louisville, Kentucky, market. This is VanTrust’s fourth project in this market and sixth in the region and will be located at the Intersection of State Route 62 and Miami Trail. The building will feature 67 dock doors, a clear height of 40 feet, and a 10-year, 51 percent real estate tax abatement. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The River Ridge Commerce Center is in southern Indiana across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. This prime location, set in the heart of the Midwest, offers access to transportation corridors for businesses in a highly desirable region. VanTrust's initial River Ridge undertaking, a 592,800-square-foot distribution facility, reached completion in 2018. The next building, Gateway 700, encompassing 703,000 square feet, was completed in 2021. The third project, Gateway 1000, is a substantial 1,022,055-square-foot structure occupying 74.2 acres within the River Ridge Commerce Center.

RED Architecture oversees the building design, while Pepper Construction is the general contractor. American Structurepoint has been appointed as civil engineer.
