ST. LOUIS, MO — Poettker Industrial Services, a woman-owned construction firm specializing in utility, infrastructure, and renewable energy construction, is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

“I founded Poettker Industrial in honor of my father, the late Charles Poettker, a construction industry leader and veteran,” said Kimberly Schlautman, President of Poettker Industrial. “After returning from war, he set out to build something of value, and that same guiding principle drives our business today. We’re proud to help build the critical infrastructure that powers our communities and supports future generations.”

In just five years, Poettker Industrial has scaled its operations by more than 3,000 percent, earning regional recognition. The team has successfully completed over 214 projects, including supporting the construction of more than 700 miles of transmission lines, building substations and grid interconnections, and expanding its services for renewable energy construction.

Poettker Industrial self-performs 43 percent of its work to maintain greater control over safety, quality, schedule, and execution. The company maintains a significant safety record, earning the company the Ameren-Contractor Sustained Safety Excellence Award as a result of achieving both the Best in Class - High Volume and Eagle Awards for three consecutive years.
