Ratliff comes to Garver after serving almost 30 years at the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), where he oversaw projects across his home state. The Mississippi State graduate joined the department as a Project Engineer in 1996 before ultimately overseeing all 82 counties in the Magnolia State in his role as Deputy Executive Director.
“[Ratliff] understands the needs and long-term goals of DOTs, municipalities, and other agencies, and his experience and expertise will be enormous assets to Garver," said Earl Mott, PE, Garver Director of Construction Services.
Ratliff has worked closely with Garver over the years, even serving as a judge for the Ridgeland office’s annual Rib and Roll event for the last two years. Ratliff was also the Project Manager for the Split Diamond project that encompassed the area in which the Ridgeland office is located.
“We’re very fortunate to have Brian at Garver,” said Blake Martin, PE, SI, MBA, Construction Services Central Director. “Our Ridgeland team has enjoyed a great relationship with him and MDOT over the years.”
