Martin will oversee the company's safety and quality programs, project team performance, and field operations educational programs. Martin previously served as Vice President of Operations for the company’s Tulsa regional operations and corporate safety.

Martin has spent his entire career at Manhattan, serving on more than 50 projects in the last 26 years. Martin’s experience includes sports, health care, government, hospitality, religious, commercial, and education projects. His $1.3 billion portfolio of work includes the BOK Center, St. John Health System Campus Expansion, Saint Francis Children's Hospital and Trauma Emergency Tower in Tulsa, Oklahoma State University Gallagher-Iba Arena Expansion in Stillwater, Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City, and Yacht Haven Resort in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Martin is an American Institute of Contractors Certified Professional Contractor, an American Society for Healthcare Engineering Certified Healthcare Constructor, and is OSHA 30-Hour Certified. He is a member of Leadership Tulsa Class 63 and Leadership Broken Arrow Class of 2016. He earned his Bachelor of Science in construction management from Oklahoma State University.

Wheatley is stepping into the role of Corporate Safety Director. He will lead the company’s safety professionals and manage its safety, health, and environmental initiatives. Prior to his promotion, he served as Safety Director for Manhattan Construction’s Tulsa region.
“In his four years at Manhattan Construction Company, Hal has demonstrated emphatic energy and passion for safety at every level of the company,” Reyhan said. “His dedication is second to none, and we're thrilled to have him guiding our nationwide safety initiatives."
Wheatley served as Manhattan’s 2024 Committee Chair for Safety Week programming and is the face of the company's safety orientation video. He is a Certified Safety Professional, First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified instructor, and an OSHA 500 Authorized 10- and 30-hour Trainer in Construction. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental, health, and safety management from Northeastern State University.
