This year’s TCC Fly-In was focused on urging members of Congress to provide a solution for the Highway Trust Fund’s revenue shortfall. TCC members from across the United States met with their state’s representatives and senators about the issue.
AAPA attendees had meetings with their four state Congressmen and two Senators discussing and sharing the states needs for federal funding to maintain, improve and build roads to expand infrastructure in Arkansas. They were also able to take a tour of the Capital hosted by Congressman Bruce Westerman and a tour of the West Wing of the White House in which they were able to take a photo in the White House Press Briefing Room.
