The Oklahoma City-based dealership will represent the full line of Hyundai Construction Equipment products in Oklahoma City and surrounding counties, with future territory expansion under consideration.
Oklahoma Territory Construction Equipment provides equipment sales, rentals, service, and parts to a wide range of small- and medium-sized contractors in applications covering general construction, site preparation, oil and gas development, and environmental remediation work.
“Hyundai gives us a much stronger product line and positions us for growth into market segments such as aggregates, roadwork and bridge building,” said Dick Belger, President, OTCE. “Hyundai loaders are unmatched in the industry. The full product line, including full-sized and compact excavators, articulated dump trucks, compaction equipment, skid steers, and compact track loaders, gives our customers everything they need in one shop.”
Matt Simmons, OTCE Business Manager and principal customer contact for sales and rentals, noted the importance of Hyundai’s equipment financing options. “Financing is a key consideration for most of our customers. Hyundai provides great end-user financing plans. Even their standard interest rates are better than bank rates,” he said. “Also, a lot of our business is rent-to-own, so the Hyundai financing options fit well with that model.”

According to Belger, the company was an outgrowth of a commercial carrier trucking business dating back to the 1960s. It began as a truck rental business providing vehicles to its sister company until 2003, when it became a Link Belt crane dealer and changed its name to Oklahoma Territory Construction Equipment. Belger said the company now sees more of its current and future business in earthmoving equipment, which underscores the importance of OTCE’s relationship with Hyundai.
“Hyundai welcomes OTCE to our dealer network,” said Matt Brown, District Manager for Hyundai. “Dick Belger and his team bring a wealth of experience serving the Oklahoma market, and they have a solid plan for using the Hyundai product line to support customers working in a variety of applications.”
