Saenz has an understanding of complex programs and extensive experience in the management of comprehensive services throughout the project life cycle. He has more than 25 years of project and program experience in the power, oil, gas, chemicals, and manufacturing sectors. He recently was appointed to the executive board of the Construction Industry Institute (CII), the industry consortium based at the University of Texas at Austin that focuses on enhancing the business effectiveness and sustainability of the capital facility life cycle through research, training, related initiatives, and industry alliances.

Over the last 20 years, Burns & McDonnell has worked with over 100 utilities, co-ops, and energy clients across Texas, completing over 4,700 projects and more than 4 million project hours for the region’s utility providers.
