Pierce was brought to ECI by the “promises of unimaginable riches,” he jokes. “But seriously, it was the thought of being able to once again grow an engineering business unit in the New England area. After meeting Dick and Bruce, it was the culture and their vision that sold it,” he said.
Pierce will be working out of ECI’s Cumberland, Maine, office in his role as Substation Manager - New England, taking an active leadership position in ECI's projects on the East Coast.
“My long-term goal is to develop a plan to expand ECI’s reach into the New England substation market,” he said. Pierce is experienced in substation design, as well as protection and control, automation, and commissioning services. “Customer satisfaction’s my biggest driver in my work, whether it’s internal or external clients,” he said.
