BOSTON, MA — Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, announces the promotion of more than 70 employees nationwide, including Damian Schmalz, PE, who has been promoted to Associate in the firm’s Boston, Massachusetts, office.

Schmalz has been with Dewberry since 2010 and has 11 years of experience. His background includes a variety of engineering services, including civil, stormwater, transportation, and telecommunications. Currently, Schmalz supports the firm’s telecommunications practice with a focus on distributed antenna systems, data center and head-end design, macro antenna site design, antenna upgrades, and construction documents and leasing and zoning plan development.

Schmalz earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University (2009).
