Bua has successfully grown HNTB’s presence in Massachusetts in his eight years as Office Leader. He also has managed complex transportation projects across the New England region, including many projects for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Some key HNTB projects in the Northeast include the JFK Redevelopment Program, Cape Cod Canal Bridges, John Greenleaf Whittier Memorial Bridge, MBTA South Coast Rail, Kosciuszko Bridge Project, and more.
Bua is involved with many different community and industry engagement groups, including the American Council of Engineering Companies and WTS. He serves on the board of directors of Boston’s “A Better City” nonprofit and the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
