She has managed a wide range of projects including public parks, athletic facilities, open space planning for universities, green infrastructure and sustainable design, and site design for municipal infrastructure including treatment and public works facilities. Drake’s work also includes several assignments providing FEMA disaster assistance. She has assisted in the technical mentoring and career development for more than 20 Landscape Architects at CDM Smith throughout her career.
“Serving as Chair of the board provides an opportunity to have a greater role in updating our regulations,” Drake said. “I’m pleased to have the opportunity to better reflect the current state of the profession and facilitate consistency with similar boards from other states.”
