Farley Joins HNTB as a Senior Project Manager
Farley manages design-bid-build, construction management and general contracting, as well as bus rapid transit projects, further strengthening HNTB’s design practice. He also leads business development and marketing, and supports projects for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), Utah Transit Authority and the Salt Lake City International Airport.
“Kevin brings technical versatility and leadership to a broad range of functions for HNTB,” said Todd Jensen, SE, Office Leader at HNTB’s Salt Lake City office. “He has a proven track record of providing high-quality plans to clients on schedule and budget and brings a keen focus to business development with his ability to build strong client relationships. He is a welcomed and strong addition to HNTB’s Salt Lake City office.”
Farley, a New York State native, holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University. He previously worked for another consulting firm, spending 24 years working on UDOT projects.
His project management experience includes delivery of one of UDOT’s first multi-discipline, model-based design and construction traditional DBB projects – the $90-million SR-172 (5600 West; SR-201 to I-80); the $30-million I-80 Blackrock bridge replacements over Union Pacific Railroad; and the $30-million I-15 (10600 South Interchange), including a new ramp underpass for I-15 northbound to Monroe Street.
