SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Bryan Dillon joins HNTB Corporation as a Project Director in the firm’s Utah office. A recognized national leader in alternative project delivery methods, Dillon brings 22 years of experience in complex infrastructure programs to HNTB.
Prior to joining HNTB, Dillon spent more than two decades at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), most recently as Construction and Project Management Engineer in FHWA’s Resource Center on the Construction and Project Management Technical Services Team. In that role, he provided technical assistance, technology transfer, and interagency coordination to all FHWA Division Offices, state departments of transportation, local public agencies, and tribal governments.
Dillon, as a National Highway Institute Master Trainer, provided training on leadership, contract administration, risk-based stewardship and oversight, construction management, alternative contracting methods, cost estimation, federal-aid program management, and project management. He also was an instructor for FHWA’s Leadership Development Academy focusing on emotional intelligence interpersonal skills including self-awareness, self-management, and building relationships.
Prior to joining the Resource Center, he served FHWA as an Urban Area Engineer for the Utah and Washington State Division Offices.

Dillon holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Brigham Young University. He also holds master’s and bachelor’s certificates in project management from The George Washington University School of Business. Dillon also is a Design-Build Professional certified by the Design-Build Institute of America.
