SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Layton Construction recently cut the ribbon on a new free-standing emergency department on the western side of the Salt Lake Valley. St. Mark's West Valley Emergency Care in West Valley City, Utah, offers a wide range of emergency services, including onsite diagnostics and lab services.
The new emergency department features 10 treatment rooms, one specifically designed for trauma and one room dedicated to behavioral health needs. It also has a 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner, digital ultrasound and diagnostic imaging, including walk-in X-rays. 
Experienced, board-certified emergency room physicians, nurses and support teams from St. Mark’s Hospital will staff the ER 24/7. St. Mark’s was Utah’s first hospital and has been providing medical care for almost 150 years.
