Flowers has 33 years of experience in the construction industry, including 28 years with McCarthy. Prior to his transfer to Phoenix, he served as Project Director for McCarthy’s Southern region based in Atlanta and, more recently, spent the past six years at Ft. Bliss Replacement Hospital in El Paso, Texas. His experience spans several industries, including healthcare, K-12, higher education and public projects.
“Lloyd has proven himself a very capable and valuable employee-owner at McCarthy and has won several internal awards for his leadership excellence,” said Chris Nickle, Executive Vice President of McCarthy’s Southwest region. “His vast experience will serve him well and brings additional expertise to our Southwest regional group.”
Flowers has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla. He has won numerous awards over his career, including Black Engineer of the Year from Modern Day Technology in 2007.
