AGC Wisconsin recognized Faith Technologies for its work on the Children’s Wisconsin Master Campus Improvement Project (MCIP) Generator Project. Children’s Wisconsin is a fully integrated health care system dedicated to caring for children and teens and is one of the nation’s top pediatric facilities. Faith Technologies was chosen to replace four emergency power generation units. The team designed and implemented an improved power generation system and relocated it to a new, centralized generator plant near the hospital but away from patient care and public areas.
Using extensive modeling, Faith Technologies engineered a route between the new generator plant and the hospital facility that ran through existing utility lines under a campus road, with individual excavations completed quickly to limit traffic disruption. The offsite generator plant frees up patient care space, removes fuel or exhaust fumes far away from patient areas, and enables ease of operation by Children’s Wisconsin facilities teams.
“Faith Technologies is proud to work with Children’s Wisconsin as they enhance their facilities to provide crucial care to children and their families,” said Scott Pulvermacher, Group Leader at Faith Technologies. “Our close relationship with Children’s enables our team to develop innovative ways to improve their electrical generator capabilities, while keeping the needs of their patients and staff at the forefront of all we do.”
