FARGO, ND — The 62nd annual Bobcat North Dakota Open welcomed regional professionals and amateurs to Rose Creek Golf Course while continuing its tradition of supporting The Village Family Service Center, a local nonprofit that provides counseling, addiction recovery, mentoring, and other essential services to children and families throughout the region.
“When people come together with a shared purpose, they can accomplish more,” said Brad Claus, Senior Vice President, Construction Products, Bobcat Company. “The Bobcat North Dakota Open continues to make a meaningful difference by supporting The Village and the important services it provides to individuals and families across our region.”
The tournament is a stop on the Dakotas Tour, a developmental tour that has served as a starting point for many young professionals wanting to sharpen their game prior to a shot at the PGA, Korn Ferry, or Champions tours. This year also marked the beginning of a new three-year partnership between the Dakotas Tour and Asher Golf Tour, strengthening the professional participation and continued growth of competitive golf in the region.
The Bobcat North Dakota Open featured a competitive field of professional and amateur golfers. In addition to tournament play, this year’s schedule included community-focused events such as the Pro Junior Shoot Out and Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf Clinic, which gave youth and mentors the opportunity to experience the game together.
Josh McCollum of Nashville, Tennessee, won the tournament marking his first professional tournament victory of the summer. Marco Trstenjak of Winnipeg, Canada, and Williams Adams of Odessa, Texas, tied for second at 18-under par. Adams also set a new Rose Creek course record of 59.

Former professional and Fargo North graduate, Josh Persons, won the Amateur divisions with a final score of 15-under 195. Persons shot a 6-under par in the final round to tie for sixth overall. Scott Johnson won the senior division, and Rick Samson won the super senior division.
The tournament concluded with an awards presentation recognizing top finishers.
Since 1984, Bobcat Company has served as the tournament’s lead corporate sponsor, helping raise more than $1.3 million to support The Village.
