MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Knutson Construction announces the promotion of Micah Vainikka to the newly created role of Corporate Director of Preconstruction. In this position, Vainikka will lead a dedicated team focused on providing preconstruction and estimating services to Knutson’s clients. His primary responsibility will be to expand and streamline the company’s preconstruction services.

A graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Vainikka holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management, earned in 2013. He is also a LEED Green Associate and is actively involved in both the U.S. Green Building Council and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. Vainikka resides in the Twin Cities metro area and is currently a member of St. Louis Park Senior High School’s Career Pathways Advisory Board.
