MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP), a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company, announces the promotion of two key leaders. Brad Hendrickson has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and David Grandstaff has been promoted to Midwest and Southwest Regional President.
As COO of AP, Hendrickson provides leadership and strategic direction to drive operations and sustained growth. He will oversee all aspects of business performance, ensuring alignment with AP’s long-term goals, and he aims to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. In addition, Hendrickson will be accountable for operational efficiencies, strengthen profitability, and advance safety and quality initiatives. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Hendrickson began as a Field Engineer and quickly advanced to Project Manager, Chief Estimator, Construction Manager, Area Manager, and Regional President.

He works closely with clients, project teams, and industry partners to align business strategies with client objectives. His expertise in developing win strategies for AP and its clients has strengthened AP’s presence and impact in the region. Grandstaff brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry and strategic planning.
