FARGO, ND —
Kraus-Anderson Construction (KA) has hired two new North Dakota business development directors to meet the construction growth in the Upper Midwest.
Amy Hass will become the Director of Business Development in the company’s new regional office in Fargo, North Dakota. KA opened the office in December 2023. Scott Staudinger will serve as Director of Business Development in Bismarck.

Hass comes to KA from
EPIC Companies, a West Fargo-based real estate investing, development, and property management firm, where since 2016 she held senior leadership rolls, most recently serving as CEO. At EPIC, Hass significantly grew the company’s portfolio assets and expanded its capital funding. In addition, she launched and managed three new companies within EPIC, including
EPIC Construction, EPIC Events, and EPIC Charities. She also oversaw a fourth company,
EPIC Realty.
Hass earned a Bachelor of Arts in university studies from North Dakota State University.
In addition to Hass, Kraus-Anderson Fargo has hired Paul Anderson and Ken Anderson as Project Managers.
Scott Staudinger
Staudinger comes to KA from Cloverdale Foods Company in Mandan, North Dakota, where he was the Vice President of Government Affairs and Human Resources. He previously was the Director of Institutional Research and Data Management at the University of Mary in Bismarck. Staudinger also served as Company Commander and Commissioned Officer for the North Dakota Army National Guard and United States Army.
Staudinger received two bachelor’s degrees from Dickinson State University, and a master’s degree from Minot State University. He also is a senior certified SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management) professional. Staudinger serves on the boards of the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber and Economic Development Council, Greater North Dakota Chamber, and United States Employee Support of the National Guard and Reserves. He also is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management Executive Network.
