Labat Named 2019 Founders Award Recipient
He began his career with Bolton & Menk in 1999 as an Engineer Technician. Labat’s primary duties are focused on CAD design and Wastewater and Water Treatment Design. Prior to joining Bolton & Menk, he worked in the engineering industry at LS Engineers.
Labat’s experience with CAD design including Plant 3D and Civil 3D, construction observation, working with public utilities, road construction and vision for innovation, give him a broad understanding that allows him to serve on a large variety of complex projects.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in architectural construction technology from Southeast Technical Institute. One of Labat’s co-workers described Labat as great to work with and always has a positive attitude with a great work ethic.
The Founders Award, presented annually, honors the firm’s founders, John Bolton and Martin C. Menk. It recognizes an individual’s initiative, commitment to quality and client satisfaction as well as other contributions to the success of the firm. Bolton and Menk said that a business is truly successful when people are committed to its goals, represent the firm well in their community and are dedicated to meeting client needs.
