BWBR Names Berg as New Principal
Berg came to BWBR in 2007 after working at design firms from North Carolina to Minneapolis in his first six years out of college. Joining the firm as a Design Leader, he brought an eye for design and interior aesthetics that began to influence projects across the spectrum, from education to health care and workplace design. Berg later migrated into project management, gaining a reputation for crafting solutions that are effective in elevating the performance of organizations.
Berg has worked on facilities with unique purposes, from one of the first known primary schools of its kind serving students with severe autism and emotional-behavioral disorders to a health care-based wellness center that combined care, nutrition, fitness, spiritual awareness and research. Projects he has teamed on have received state and national recognition for their designs, including Mayo Clinic’s Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center, Pankalo Education Center, Brookview Elementary School and Anderson Hall at Gustavus Adolphus College.
Other notable projects during his time at BWBR include the Minnesota Senate Building, Gustavus Adolphus’ Beck Hall, University of Northwestern’s Knight Performance Hall and Austin Community Recreation Center.
Berg graduated from North Dakota State University with bachelor’s degrees in architecture and environmental design.
