MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Tutor Perini Corporation, a civil, building, and specialty construction company, announces that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has been awarded a contract by the Minnesota Department of Transportation valued at approximately $67.2 million for the I-94 and I-394 Interchange Project in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The scope of work includes repairing 34 bridges and ramps along I-394 and I-94 between downtown Minneapolis and Highway 100. The project also includes maintenance work on the Dunwoody Boulevard ramp, replacing the deck for the Penn Avenue bridge that crosses over I-394, and other improvements along I-394 between downtown Minneapolis and Highway 100.
Work is expected to begin in July 2025 with substantial completion anticipated in the summer of 2027. The contract value has been added to Tutor Perini's backlog in the second quarter of 2025.
