Since 1979, Armstrong Crane and Rigging has provided the equipment, expertise, and experienced personnel to serve utility and heavy industry’s transport, rigging, and lift needs in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The acquisition strengthens Barnhart’s presence in the upper Midwest, where it already had field offices in Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

A lifting and logistics contractor with a current network of more than 55 facilities, Barnhart provides service through a local presence. Operated crane rental, rigging services, outage planning, specialized solutions for component replacement, industrial storage, and national project cargo logistics all combine to ensure Barnhart’s customers receive the lowest total project cost. Barnhart also has one of the largest engineering teams in the industry, including a full R&D department. Barnhart is a U.S. company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.
