MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) has broken ground on its future headquarters at The Craftsman on France in Edina, Minnesota, marking a milestone in the company’s eight-decade history in the Twin Cities.
The Craftsman on France is a mixed-use development by Orion Investments. AP, the general contractor for the project and a lead tenant, will occupy 39,500 square feet across the fourth and fifth floors of the five-story, 136,000-square-foot office building. The new headquarters will provide a workspace designed to support AP’s growth while remaining central to clients, partners, and the broader Twin Cities community.
“We’ve built in this community for nearly 80 years, and now we have the opportunity to build for ourselves — creating a headquarters that reflects our culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence,” said Jeff Hansen, CEO of AP. “This investment ensures we continue to grow alongside the communities where we live and work.”
Designed by ESG Architecture & Design, The Craftsman on France will offer a workspace tailored to support collaboration and professional development. Key building amenities include an executive training suite, coffee bar, indoor bike storage, underground parking, and an outdoor plaza.
The Craftsman on France is scheduled for completion in fall 2026 and will replace AP’s current headquarters at Normandale Lake Office Park.
