COLUMBUS, OH — DLR Group has relocated from a coworking space to its own workspace to accommodate additional design talent in Central Ohio.

Since the firm’s establishment in Columbus in 2018, it has designed numerous substantial projects in the region. The firm's work includes the Murphy Arts District and multiple projects at The Ohio State University, notably the Wexner Medical Center. The firm has also curated a significant relationship with Gahanna-Jefferson Public schools and is designing a new high school and additions to two elementary schools and three middle schools as part of the second phase of the district’s master facilities plan.

“Our prime location within the Arena District will strengthen our roots in the region and renew our commitment to our clients inside and outside the metro,” said Shirley, who leads operations in the Columbus office.

Expanded open meeting and workspaces, an elevated kitchen, and an unconfined design yield more sunlight to the space providing staff with views of the adjacent park and creating more synergy among the growing team. The location also provides staff members with access to some of downtown’s most notable businesses and amenities, as well as to green space and bike trails.
