CINCINNATI, OH — Chris Hopper is celebrating 20 years with Skanska and 25 in the commercial construction industry. As Executive Vice President and General Manager of Skanska USA’s office in Cincinnati, Ohio, Hopper has shaped the region’s environment through projects and strategic leadership.
After graduating from Purdue University, Hopper joined Skanska in southwest Ohio in 2004 and has since led major health care, education, and civic construction efforts. His leadership has helped Skanska grow its local presence. Hopper brings experience in health care, education, hospitality, aviation, and life sciences, and is known for championing sustainable building practices like cross laminated timber, multi-trade prefabrication, and Integrated Project Delivery.
Hopper is a graduate of the 2019 Cincinnati Regional Chamber C-Change class and 2025 Leadership Cincinnati class. He continues to mentor emerging leaders and advocate for sustainable practices.
