ST. LOUIS, MO — Tarlton, St. Louis’ largest women-owned general contracting and construction management firm, announces that Shane Spears is serving as Director of Estimating for the company’s energy, industrial, and civil construction team.
Spears has more than 12 years of leadership experience in general contracting, with an emphasis in energy, industrial, and heavy civil construction. He is working under the direction of Vice President Michael Trettel, who oversees the firm’s general contracting, construction management, and design-build projects in key market sectors including energy, industrial, civil, and infrastructure, as well as concrete construction, restoration, and maintenance.

Spears previously served as Director for a regional builder, bringing experience in deep foundations, industrial, building, and energy projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management and a minor in business administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
