KANSAS CITY, MO — McCownGordon Construction, one the Midwest region’s largest construction management firms, added Tom Mitchell as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mitchell brings nearly two decades of business development experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industries to the firm. In his prior role, he served in several business development roles at a national Top 10 architectural and engineering firm and most recently acted as a Global Business Unit Leader for the organization.

As part of the leadership team, Mitchell will play a key role in the continued growth of the firm. A natural leader and relationship builder, he will also oversee all business development for the organization, working with the business development team and business unit leaders to create new and lasting client and partner relationships.

Mitchell graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and earned a Master of Arts in Administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
