“We were founded in Kansas City and are committed to growing here,” said Ramin Cherafat, Chief Executive Officer. “Our new headquarters building is a testament to our passion for this great community. And, after 20 years, we’re launching a refreshed brand that places our core values of integrity, performance and relationships front and center. It also speaks to our growth and momentum as we continue to expand our business.”
“We recently opened an office in Wichita and are working on projects ranging from South Dakota to Oklahoma, further expanding our reach throughout the Midwest,” added Brett Gordon, Chairman. “Our growing success is attributed to our core values and ability to hire great people who live those values every day.
McCownGordon associates understand the importance of client service and lasting partnerships.”
The company’s new headquarters building opened at 850 Main Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The 51,270-square-foot building includes a host of amenities and incorporates a progressive “neighborhood” seating layout designed to encourage more collaboration across various business units and departments. Designed by Helix Architecture, the building features floor to ceiling windows, natural wood and metal accents throughout, polished concrete floors and a custom mural by artist Ken Dela, symbolizing the company’s 20-year history.
The refreshed McCownGordon brand retains the red and black colors associated with McCownGordon. Red triangles in the mark represent the company’s core values as well as its progress, growth and approach to doing business. As a 100 percent employee-owned business, the people at McCownGordon are integral to growing the organization.
